Simple Run Blocker makes it easy to block the execution of applications - both as a blacklist and as a whitelist. The created list of programs can be exported and imported. You can also hide or block drives and block the Microsoft Store.
NOTE: To ensure that drives are hidden in Windows 7 or higher, select the "Restart Windows Explorer" checkbox before clicking "Apply changes".
To prevent the whitelist mode ("1 - Block all except the List below") from being deactivated because the Simple Run Blocker has been removed (e.g. by removing the USB stick from which it was started), it is automatically copied to ProgramFiles and a desktop shortcut is created. If one of the other two options ("2 - Block only the list below", "3 - Disable blocking") is selected, this directory and the shortcut are deleted again. This can be controlled in the RunBlock.ini file with the following options:
- CopyToProgramFiles=1 (default: creates the SRB link)
- CopyToProgramFiles=0 (Deactivates the creation of the SRB link)
- RemoveFromProgramFiles=1 (Default: Deletes the SRB link)
- RemoveFromProgramFiles=0 (Deactivates the deletion of the SRB link)
