The Network Profile Name Changer makes it as easy as possible to rename or delete network profiles. Via the context menu, each network profile can be renamed or deleted, set to public or private and the registry key of a network profile can be opened for editing. It also provides access to frequently used Windows network tools. When you connect to a network for the first time, Windows 10 creates a network profile and automatically gives it a meaningless name. However, Microsoft has removed the option to rename network profiles in newer versions of Windows. Note: If you delete all network profiles or if the profile that you have edited is not recognized by the system, switch the adapter that you are connecting to the Internet off and on again, or disconnect from the Internet and reconnect.
