With Show Desktop Icons, you can show and hide common icons on the desktop. These are: - Computer - User files - Network - Recycle Bin - Control Panel - Internet Explorer - Microsoft Edge This can also be done manually via Windows, but with this tool it is faster and more efficient. In contrast to the Windows function "Desktop icon settings", with "Show Desktop Icons" you can add an Internet Explorer icon to the desktop. This is not a simple shortcut, but an ActiveX object that enables - via the context menu - access to the Internet options or starts a private browser session.
