Auto detect added folders/apps

OK, understood I use machine-personnalized sync with exclusions! this is what I do for some Files / folders - Symenu config itself - mainly data profiles for apps parameters specific for a PC (example Sync parm obviously) - applis that I don't want that doesn't solve everything but provide a good workaround |

Hi Phoenix71, I'm sure Symenu will be your good fellow!
Can you explain what you consider as the "container headings" and why you may need to Copy/paste it? |

Newbie Question

Let me reword your question making sure to answer correctly! - you have 2 different versions of programs on PC - one is "installed", the other one is portable and managed with Symenu you want access to both
1- you can't have a unique entry for both in symenu & you can't "copy" a container
2- Starting from a clean Symenu with the portable apps you need then you create 1 or more container(s) where ever you want in Symenu tree then you "batch import" the installed programs you want to add to that container
In my own symenu I have both installed & portable & even 2 or 3 versions of the same portable prog without any problems
Hope I understand right and that it helps |

Can you explain better what the NirSoft problem is please?
Here is a screen shot: - although ALL is selected the listview is blank - only the selected item shows up
Thks in advance for your time (I Understand that this view has little chance to survive for long and is not blocking, anyway this may hide ........)

I was a bit surprised with the figures: On the Nirsoft Windows, Symenu actually uses : - around 4300 GDI Objects!
and
- roughly 200 000KO Private bytes
- 100 000KO (Max ~140 000) bytes as Working set
In fact as soon as the app manager is opened (even on Symenu suite window) there is at least 4300 GDI Objects
Hope this help let me know if you need other infos (Process Explorer is your friend

Hi Gianluca, Unfortunately even Black standard theme gives same result (other standards themes - didn't try all - works)
the fact is it only affects Nirsoft suite tab and NOT Symenu Suite tab
it should have something to do with font color (white on white background) for that tab only??
but trust me this issue is less than blocking problem (I just mentionned because it can hide more critical ones)
and I'll do with that really It's probably more usefull to merge the Nirsoft page into the main one so... |
