Dear all, The first 2020 version is finally out.
This time the news are more technical than handy. I would like to comment two of them.
1) All the libraries are removed from the program root and grouped under the lib folder Well it's true the SyMenu root folder was a mess... there was a lot of "useless" files and now I moved them in a subfolder (Lib). I hope the cleaning can be appreciated.
2) The custom themes can now be extended to draw the forms too (beta) If you prefer to have a colorful application you can now extend the theme for contextual menu to all the forms. Well probably not every colors combination will work but the feature should be quite good as it this now.
A user reported to me that the automatic alert for the new program update doesn't work. If you force the SyMenu update everything works well but he had no clue that a new version is available. Is there anyone else that can confirm this problem?
If you have any question I'm here.

Here is a screen shot: - although ALL is selected the listview is blank - only the selected item shows up
Thks in advance for your time (I Understand that this view has little chance to survive for long and is not blocking, anyway this may hide ........)

It's really strange and it seems caused by a program general problem not a specific one of the SPS manager.
You should go to the task manager, go to the Details, add the column GDI object and tell me how many object SyMenu is using when you have this problem.

I was a bit surprised with the figures: On the Nirsoft Windows, Symenu actually uses : - around 4300 GDI Objects!
and
- roughly 200 000KO Private bytes
- 100 000KO (Max ~140 000) bytes as Working set
In fact as soon as the app manager is opened (even on Symenu suite window) there is at least 4300 GDI Objects
Hope this help let me know if you need other infos (Process Explorer is your friend

Ok then, I thought it was tied to the problem we discussed here https://www.ugmfree.it/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=494 but it's not your case. Can you deactivate the new beta feature please? I'm speaking about "Themed forms". I suspect that it could be a simple problem in this colors combination.

Wow... luckly! With a different color schema you'll be probably able to reactivate the beta feature.

Hi Gianluca, Unfortunately even Black standard theme gives same result (other standards themes - didn't try all - works)
the fact is it only affects Nirsoft suite tab and NOT Symenu Suite tab
it should have something to do with font color (white on white background) for that tab only??
but trust me this issue is less than blocking problem (I just mentionned because it can hide more critical ones)
and I'll do with that really It's probably more usefull to merge the Nirsoft page into the main one so...

The bug you found is really nice.... Who knows what the poor NirSoft suite did against the black theme to deserve this... Naturally I'll fix it in the next version.
Anyway if you or anybody else found some graphical problems with the new beta feature, please open a new thread in the right discussion ( https://www.ugmfree.it/Forum/topics.aspx?ForumID=3) so we can collect all the reports in one single place. Thank you.
