In Windows, you can set Windows Firewall to block or unblock certain applications, but it doesn't provide a user-friendly interface for its advanced features. Firewall App Blocker makes the process very simple: drag the application you want to block into the FAB window - that's it!
If you want to allow the application again, simply right-click on it and select "Allow" or select the application and press the "Delete" button. There are some additional functions in the firewall menu: "White List Mode", block internet, restrict firewall options. It is also possible to export and import the rules you have created yourself.
Note: The Firewall App Blocker does not change the standard rules of the Windows Firewall. If you use a third-party firewall, this can deactivate your Windows firewall. The Firewall App Blocker only runs properly if the Windows Firewall is activated! If you do not want Edge and similar Microsoft programs to access the Internet in "White list" mode, you can manually disable their rules in the advanced Windows Firewall settings.
