Hope you doing well despite lock down period. (strange Easter isn't it?)
I have a question about the Symenu button (I have a customized one) I'd like to set opacity (when not hovered or clicked), I'd like it to be 100%
I found nothing in config file is there a way to do that?

Hi Gianluca!
I understand that this "goodie" may not be of high priority, I'm asking "just in case" (I'd like my logo to be recorded as part of video confs training that I'm conducting, and found Symenu Icon a very convenient way to do that, without any programming ;-) ) See NOTE
Yes, I'm in France, where the situation is not very good either. We have some relatives near Napoli and are keep a sight on Italian figures
Unfortunately I'm "at risk" as being a "grand Parent" and some additional reasons Keep yoursalf safe
NOTE : wrote a small splash screen app. So no more need for that function TKS taking time to answer

Strange behavior of the about splash screen

THX for new version I must say I hadn't see the new version until today. So I checked using the "about" (from menu in the floating icon) (incidentally I'm up to date ) Then surprisingly I'stuck there : no way to close it, floating icon not responsive I have to exit from the notification area
Same thing each time Doesn't seem vital here, told you just in case....

Obvious! ESC is perfect and works (as with most of apps )! I don't even understand why I bother you with that! don't waste your time, so sorry JL |

+1 for no "select reset" between status choices in the "Manage SPS Apps" panel Exemple: - selecting some Apps with "update" status - try to see if any is 32bit one(to remove) or add another version of same app, changing status from "update" to "All" / or any other status But previous selection has been reset So doesn't work

Hi Gianluca!
I haven't been around much on the forums lately but wanted to stop in and thank you for continuing your work on Symenu. I use it all the time and it is very helpful and useful.
If anyone wants to know how robust it is with a load on it, I have 3,869 programs on my menu along with many weblinks, commands, and docs. This menu is the best out there!
Thanks for creating this and keeping it up all these years!

I'm currently testing it
Already installed roughly 200 progs (no problem so far ) but as I use extensively V7.. I have still many more to install
Question: I have a bunch of portable apps in an "other portable apps" folder in the 7... installation
May I just copy this folder from 7.. to 9.. then import programs?? Thanks |

Suprisingly I see none of the problems that Scente posted
I'm running Symenu 8.0.8658 on W10, with a 4K screen at 125%
[EDIT] Just tried at 150% with same results

Totally agree that the number of Categories is too large." This is why I use my own (~12) mainly based on the existing ones but ONE WORD and sometimes add sub categories (few) to keep a "reasonnable" size of submenus this add somme little extra work at the beginning and when update really minor but BEST USE
don't know if is usefull but this my 2 cents Jean-Louis
