I have some weird issue with firefox. I use the portable version of firefox taken from portableapps.com.
When launching the application (firefoxportable.exe) using the SyMenu.Admin.exe always fails to open after the portableapps Splash Screen. When launching the application (firefoxportable.exe) using the SyMenu.exe i have no problem. edited by Ilias on 02/07/2016

Hello Ilias. I tried to reproduce your issue unsuccessfully. Which OS are you using? Are you able to launch Firefox Portable in elevate mode without using SyMenu? (Right click on Firefox Portable, Properties, Compatibility, Run this program as an administrator)

Better late than never they say...
I did some tests to figure out what is going on. So: i launched firefoxportable.exe using Run As Administrator from compatibility menu did the same think (displays only splash screen, firefox does not open) i used a new installation of firefox.paf.exe using the SyMenu.Admin.exe to launch the firefoxportable.exe the same as above.
Last but not least i enabled run this program as compatibility mode for -> windows 7 then -> launched firefoxportable.exe using SyMenu.Admin.exe It Works... edited by Ilias on 13/07/2016

Indeed this seems to be a problem in the Firefox portable launcher. Maybe you should report the problem to the portable apps web site... and please report only the Run As Administrator thing, otherwise mentioning SyMenu, they will probably refuse the report

Gian let me ask you something just for my curiosity, why would someone launch firefox as administrator ?
Firstly I will search the portableapps forum and if none has reported the issue i will do.
