Possible To Get Right Click Context Menu Option?

I found SyMenu the other day and after using it a while decided I liked it. I think it's a worthwhile project and a project that could go far. You've done a nice job on it. Congrats.
As I was using it I thought it would be nice if you could just Right click anywhere on screen and SyMenu would appear.
So that got me thinking if I could manually edit to get SyMenu as a Right click context menu option. Trouble is, W7 (x64) has taken the "Edit File Type" "Action" function away and your left with a HKEY ROOT registry hack - which I tried, but it didn't work out.
Have you any ideas how I can achieve what I want - or any future plans to incorporate such an option?
Many thanks and great work with SyMenu. |

Hi Gianluca, thanks for the reply. I realise SyMenu is mainly used as a portable application launcher but it does a very good job as a start menu launcher on a local hard drive. Example, I was looking for a replacement for "Free Launch Bar", nice little app, you can hover the mouse cursor over "FLB" and the menu comes up (without clicking). Very convenient and good for 'work flow'. But the program lacks in other areas. SyMenu allows you to organise things better.
I just think it's got excellent potential for those wishing to use it full time on their local hard drive. Which is why I say having a 'right click' option to have the menu show up anywhere. It's good for speed, work flow. Instead of having to go down to the taskbar all the time where SyMenu is pinned (W7).
Same goes for the menu appearing when the mouse cursor is placed over a pinned SyMenu icon on the taskbar in W7. It's less clicking and smoother.
I'm just saying this out loud as I use SyMenu and think: "that would be nice." I have no idea if any of it is possible, or whether you even want to take the app in that direction. I'm just thinking out loud as I use it.
Thanks very much for the link, btw. I'll try it and get back to you.
