My Antivirus is blocking SyMenu from downloading Adaware and several other utils because the Polish site that is using to serve up these files is on a blacklist of malware sites. Is there no way of changing the download source for utils in the SyMenu app?

I find it extremely strange that Virustotal shows that Eset does not flag the http://dpcdn-s13x.pl yet it is Eset anti-virus that is flagging the same URL here and from which I posted the logs from. I ensured that Eset was fully up to date today and the same result that it was blocked by internal blacklist.
All this worry re this issue may be moot in my case since on old hardware based on Windows7 Ultimate w 8 GB of RAM SyMenu is using up to 50% of my CPU on startup. The little icon that shows up in the middle of the screen just sits there for what seems minutes on end. I don't know if the horrendous CPU usage for SyMenu is due in a large part on the ancient AMD 6000+ CPU in this computer or whether all of the apps installed in Symenu are in one long continuous menu when it eventually opens on the screen.

I deleted the Symenu on my hard drive and redid it from scratch this time using the create folder option which helped a lot with the responsiveness. I know you are not responsible for Eset but I just find it strange that the same software is apparently showing two different results. |

For a month or two Adware Cleaner was blocked from being updated by NOD32 Eset antivirus. Now GPU-Z is also being blocked from being updated sine the site the updates are being hosted on is on a PUA blacklist

VIrus definitions are updated multiple times per day. ESet indicated the 212.91.8.86 for the infraction and if one does a scan on that it does not come up clean IP https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/7e0e1da6458088fb838bd091ccf9ce98e08a2cf0f2d20559c956106903255d29/detection
If one does a whois on dpcdn-s14x.pl it resolves to rev-212.91.8.86.atman.pl whose IP is 212.91.8.86

I noticed today when I checked for app updates all of the SysInternal apps were marked as discontinued! What happened? |

Oh ok thought perhaps you just discontinued the access altogether. Pulling the Sysinternals down via publisher filter.

Regarding the NirSoft tab.
If you installed two programs from NirSoft, when the tab is discontinued they'll remain available in the NirSoft tab (and in your PC and in SyMenu). You can choose to remove them all and reinstall them from the main suite or to leave the NirSoft tab where it is indefinitely or to install the programs from the main suite and leave them in the NirSoft tab, nonsense but yet possible.

Personally I feel you should just move them to the main tab - and then remove the respective tab - less work, less confusion..... You are probably right but, as I told you, I always try to work as little as possible for a once-in-a-life feature. The time I can devote to SyMenu must be as productive as possible.
I removed all the Nirsoft utils since they are no longer are being shown in the updates list. The Nirsoft tab is still there however when I go to the main tab and search for Publishjher nirsoft nothing shows up. How am I suppose to install Nirsoft utils in the main tab? |

Not intuitive regarding mass deletion

I wanted to delete all the entries on the Nirsoft tab and I struggle for half an hour trying to figure out how to delete all the installed applications via SysMenu. I use the muti-select option and had all the individual apps on Nirsoft tab checked on but I could not for the life of me figure out how to delete all the check entries. The delete option in the right mouse click only deleted the highlighted item. Only after searching through the manual did I discovered that to do a mass deletion one has to click on APPLY ALL. Without the manual there was no way it would of dawned on me that was what I had to do.
Is there no way of actually having a DELETE option in the app so its a bit more intuitive when performing an option like this on multiple entries? |

You are right about the ease of use of the massive actions. Unfortunately I have no idea on a way to make it easier. If anyone has a better idea I'm opened to any proposal.
Well normally with multiple items selected a right mouse click would give one options to perform on those selected items. Even enabling a button (which normally is disabled if no entries are selected) somewhere on that screen would be more intuitive. Just my 2 cents so to speak. |

And any action has a completely different consequence on your item.
For example if you check a program that is not yet installed and a program that is already installed, what I have to do if you ask for a massive deletion?
The delete action is inconsistent on a program not yet installed so what do you, as a user, expect SyMenu will do for you in this scenario?
Is there a way to add some text on to the Apply All button to indicate the action that would be taken should the button be pressed? In my case I had no idea that pressing this button would of uninstalled all of the selected applications |

What I was getting at was that in my case I spent 30+ minutes trying to figure out how to delete a selection of entries. Only when I came across the manual on the website did I realize I had to click on the APPLY ALL button. If I had done a mass selection like that and noticed that the APPLY ALL button indicated that a DELETION would of occurred then I may not have spent 30 minutes looking at how to delete the selected items. |

Finding am app

I wanted to run Crystal DiskMark so I started looking through the categories in the menu in SyMenu and could not find Crystal DiskMark nor could I find Crystal DiskInfo. I checked that the apps were indeed installed and they were. I looked again this time they showed up in SysMenuSuite flyout. I am a bit confused it seems SyMenu has some apps show up under SyMenuSuite flyout menu while other apps are under categories outside of the SyMenuSuite flyout. It seems that finding a particular app becomes more difficult this way. The help file indicates there is a search capability but the Systray icon menus show no search options. |

I regularly check for updates and have Nir Soft as a separate tab but do not seeing updates for any of its apps. So I checked and both apps I have checked on Nirsoft's What New listing https://www.nirsoft.net/ shows that for example Chrome Cookies View was updated to 1/2/2020 to 1.58 but I am at 1.57 in Symenu. Same thing for AdvancedRun v1.15 30/01/2020 on Nir Soft but Symenu shows 1.10 |

In the past when I started SyMenu up and clicked on the systray icon it would show Updates Available in the Symenu. I would click on that menu item SyMenu woul d already be set to filter only on new updates so I could simply perform the updates install. The first time I used this new version of Symenu I had to go into the list of apps, change the filter on showing only Updates, and then install those updates. Is that how it will function from now on regarding updates? |

Nope. It should work as before.
Anyway it could happen the check don't work, both the automatic one and the manual one. I try to understand if your was a bug or a normal failure.
In the meanwhile please monitor this behavior and report to me if the automatic check never works considering that it should work no more time than once a day.
I think what happened was that the upgrade reset the options so that Updates wasn't checked on the app screen. The result was that I saw all of the apps. Tonight I started Symenu up it said there updates available and clicking on that showed only the updates which I was able to apply/install. |
