Wierd Bug in SPS manager

Hi.

No biggie, but nevertheless a bit annoying upset

I have 2 Vista computers, a 32 bit and a 64 bit, and suddenly I notiched, that PicPick disapeared from the SyMenu suite, on both computers, when i refreshed the list.
Later on I started a Windows 7 computer, refreshed the list and PicPick appeared as it should.
Then I started a virtual XP. No PicPick.
I took a closer look and noticed that all the "The... has been freshly released" (incl. TTclock) apps are missing i XP and Vista.
All the missing List items' .sps files are present in the ...\SyMenuSuite\_Cache folder, but they just doesn't show in the manager.

I have deleted the cache, updated the list several times and even tried a brand new SyMenus, but nothing seems to help.

Kind regards

Corrupt SPS file

Hi.

Can anybody tell me what's wrong with the attached RightNote SPS file.

Validation says OK and the download puts the zip file in the ...\AppData\Local\Temp\.. where it is unpacked to ...\AppData\Local\Temp\RightNote.

Then something goes wrong, and I get an error message (.exe missing) at the end.

The destination folder RightNote_3.2.3 is created in my test folder, but it only contains a config.ini file from Rightnote.
The remaining files are left in the AppData folder.

I've tried several computers, different/shorter paths but I can't get to work. Am I overlooking something ?

Kind regards

Hi Gianluca.

You're welcome. It's nice with a forum, where the developer plays such an active role. You are almost the Donald Lessau of launchers.smile

...but it should be more correct to signal that the freeware version is only a trial version. Do you agree?

I wasn't sure what to name it, as the trial is optional on first launch. You can change it as you like.

Hi.

A small ? request, if you can find the time.

My file manager provides Custom File Icons and Portable File Associations

But SPS builder doesn't seem to care smile

Double clicking a sps file just opens an empty instans of SPS builder. An Open with... feature would be nice, if it's possible.

Kind regards
