The default filters for a freshly new SyMenu installation already include :update. Are you suggesting adding :newest too? Indeed the example filters (they are currently 7) are only a way to show you what you can do with the search, it's not a way to include the most useful searches. Anyway I'm open to changing the default list if it's useful, but please let me understand better what you are suggesting.
