I normally not agree with any proposal that transforms SyMenu in a not portable program but it seems clear that a lot of you are using SyMenu as a Windows start menu replacement.
Well I have to surrender
I will implement a new option tab for Not portable features.
So your proposal to autostart SyMenu during Windows startup will be placed there.
If you or others have some ideas for not portable features, let me know.

Gianluca, please keep the core functions portable
I created a small reg file.
Create a text doc called 'symenu_startup.reg'
put the following in it, and then just doubleclick to install (be sure to use your correct path C:\\ etc)
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
"SyMenu"="\"C:\\PortablesApps\\SyMenu\\SyMenu.exe\""

Hi Coastie.
Don't worry the option could be used or not. If you activate it, SyMenu leaves a track on your system, otherwise it remains portable.
