As I'm a new user, I don't know all the details. I've been requested to contact SPS editors for certain typ of installation issues. But this was possible only for a few cases as the SyMenu package manager has a bug in handling the click on SPS editor contact, see attached screenshot of concerned icon in SyMenu package manager . See attached screenshot for SyMenu error message .

SyMenu package manager handles this icon correctly for packages maintained by the SyMenu Suite author leading to his contact form.
SyMenu package manager handles this icon correctly for packages maintained by VVV_Easy_Symenu but the relevant contact form no longer exists and has been deleted according to the contact form hoster as reported by the contact form hoster as well as by myself in the preceeding thread if SyMenu update has been released prematurely.
SyMenu package manager leads to the above error if the SPS editor has inserted an email adress as it seems that SyMenu package manager makes assumptions on operating context without verifying and without providing appropriate handling options as a function of available options. SyMenus intention is to work as a portable solution. But the implementation seems to make reference to the host system instead of providing an option to use its own tools accordingly. The problem with contact emails is that proper handling requires either a configured email client or configured webmail service. It seems that SyMenu expects such a configured email client on the host system. But if you use it on a computer of a user who hasn't used nor installed an email client nor configured a not installed one, this may not work, resulting in the above observed error message!

SyMenu should provide the choice to use an email client of the SyMenu suite if it is already installed and configured or a webmail service either by SyMenu web browser of host web browser to fix this situation if my assumption is right. I wonder how SyMenu may work otherwise if used in read-only mode which seems to me a feature unique of SyMenu. (Though didn't try yet this mode as a new user.)

What's wrong with this forum software configuration?
It tells me how to insert attachements as inline but it doesn't show the according result in preview. I'll see if this is just a limitation of the preview feature.
