Can you point me to where I would identify the actual URL that applications are downloaded from from the SyMenu suite? I'm working with one of my network engineers trying to identify why I cannot update certain items in my Symenu. It would be very helpful to know how I can identify the URL. In this case, UltraVNC will not update and I believe there is a URL being blocked.
Thank you!

Sure I can.
Go to Get new apps, then select the program you are interesting in, and then right click on the little button with the green arrow you find under the release information. The download url will be copied to your clipboard. If you left click it the browser will pop up automatically with the download URL opened.
Warning! If you download the program regularly with your browser but not with SyMenu there could be other problems unrelated to your network setting. In these cases I have some workarounds for you.
1) Install the .NET framework 4.0 or higher. SyMenu is able to run on every .NET framework starting from 2.0, but if you have the latest one installed, SyMenu is happier and it's able to make some further magics. For example downloading programs from websites that only implement TLS 1.2.
2) Try more than one time. Some websites could very slow or heavily loaded and SyMenu is not a patient guy. If a website takes too long to reply, he gets tired and gives up. Well it's call timeout in technical words. If you try to download the program again and again maybe you catch a faster channel and get your program.
3) Download the program by hand with your browser and update/install it on SyMenu through the local package option. It's the very last chance to get the program but usually it's the decisive one.
BTW I checked the UltraVNC website and they simply have some problems with the SSL certificates. You can check it with your browser too. Anyway you can download the package from the http instead of the https. I'm alerting the SPS editor for UltraVNC suggesting to change the protocol for a while.
