Hotkeys not working correctly

I'm just testing SyMenu for the first time I have a problem with program hotkeys:
If I set up a hotkey I expect that this hotkey works only with SyMenu and nowhere else, but that's not the case. If I e.g. set up a program hotkey to Ctrl+Shift+N and use this hotkey while the Windows Explorer is active the Explorer creates a new folder and SyMenu starts the corresponding program.
(And the hotkey feature shouldn't be called "shortcut".)

You are right. SyMenu is not aggressive in managing its shortcuts/hotkeys. What you are reporting is only one of the weakness of this feature in SyMenu. Another one is that SyMenu, running in normal mode, is not able to steal a shortcut to a program that is running in elevate mode.
I perfectly know that but, since rewriting the entire hooking system is an huge task, it's not a priority in this moment sorry. We are not a large team here
My advise: use uncommon key combinations for your programs or use another program more aggressive with the keyboard shortcut, such as Clavier+ that is available in the SyMenu suite.
Why am I using the shortcut term instead of hotkey? Because the shortcuts in SyMenu were introduced as accelerators available in the contextual menu. Later I extended this feature to allow its use system wide but the name remained.

Thanks. I'll use AutoHotkey for the hotkeys for now.
