I've been playing with the new version for a bit since discovering it today, trying to use some of the features you added especially for me, but I'm having some very minor issues with a couple of them.
-sm"CTRL+F2" doesn't work. But it does work without the quotation marks. Manual seems to indicate quotation marks are optional, but... better not use them at all!
-cv"smproj=Text" shows up in a tooltip configured with %smproj%, but all in lower case. No capital T. (I actually have a different Text.) This is far more usable than a tooltip that says %smproj% But not exactly what I'd expected.
I was surprised to still find "Configuration" and "Options" showing in a READONLY instance of SyMenu.

I can't reproduce the -sm"CTRL+F2" bug. It works for me. Can you confirm the problem with the double quotes?
I solved the -cv casing problem. In the next version you'll got all your casing in the right place.
I never promised to remove them in READONLY mode. The important thing is that the relative forms are inaccessible. Maybe in one of the next version I'll implement this.

Took me a few days to find time to research this. Not a problem in SyMenu. It was the technique I used to launch SyMenu from Python. It seems that Python does weird things with double quotes in command lines... maybe putting in an extra \ before each ". So the bug is in Python, or my use of it, not SyMenu.

Yes, I guess you didn't... you just replied that it was a good idea... and I assumed you were superhuman, and kept your "todo" list empty

I'm only human and in fact my TODO list today counts 94 points... some of them needs at least 2/3 days to be realized. For example think about the SPS Scripting engine: three little words for three days of work.
And I don't put in the TODO list my ideas for the future of SPS...
