I've got 2 different problems currently (and is reproduced on 2 entirely different environments): 1) When Managing SPS apps, the 'Get apps online' link doesn't do anything. When I first open the manager, the link is OK for the SyMenu Suite. If I switch to one of the other tabs, it won't let me click on it in any of them anymore. 2) The 'First Configuration' wizard keeps showing up randomly for me. I'll get it working again and it comes back. I've had 2 separate instances of Symenu do this recently, home and work. I've somehow been able to get it back by replacing the config.zip to an older version but for some reason it works a couple times and then goes back to starting the first configuration wizard. If I complete that wizard, there are NO entries and it is basically back to the original configuratoin. This problem is obviously much more serious than the SPS manager.

I can suggest an easy workaround for this issue. If the Get apps online is disable simply click on any of the listed program and it will be re-enabled. 2) There is no bug in SyMenu regarding the first configuration. My suspect is that the configuration file (SyMenuConfig.zip) has its Windows permission messed. Right click on the file - properties - security and allow everyone to modify the file. From this point on SyMenu will be allowed to access the config file and to modify that and your issue will be solved.

timrray Posts: 24 23/10/2015	timrray Posts: 24 I just noticed something that may be pertinent. I've got a copy of my setup on a local disk as well as a network share. If I run it from the local disk, it works. From the network share it does not. The share and file permissions are set up correctly and I've also reproduced this at work. Do you have any other suggestions to try?

Gianluca Administrator Posts: 1274 23/10/2015	Gianluca Administrator Posts: 1274 Bingo! The initial 4.13 version had a problem with the network paths (UNC paths). I have immediately released a fixed 4.13 but the automatic update doesn't work for two identical program versions with different build numbers (and this is another bug...). You have to manually download a fresh 4.13 version from the web site and replace your current 4.13 version.
