As much as I hate to say it, one of the best things about portableapps.com menu is that you can simply add an apps folder to the menus application folder and it just picks up the exe and adds it to the menu.

I know SyMenu is much more complex, but it would make life easier if you could do this. Perhaps each app could contain a config file in its own folder that SyMenu could read and any configuration options like start elevated, or arguments, would be read straight from there.

If an app was new and had no such config file created, as its effectively a new install, then SyMenu would ask on startup to create one and open the config for to fill in what's required.

This would help alleviate the hassle when removing or adding apps not downloaded through the app browser. Rather than symenu just deleting them as it doesn't recognise them.

Maybe it's too much work or not the direction you want to go? Just an idea...
