New Version 8 Scaling "Yikes"

Used SyMenu on every PC I touched for years and always updated. OK, that's over. Dell XPS 13 res. 3840x2160. Program list is fine but anything in tools is unusable. No, I mean UNUSABLE. Any fix suggestion would be welcome. I had to grab an un-updated version from another PC and uncheck "check version" to stop SyMenu update alert screen. Apps still update fine. SyMenu is the very best source for grabbing and updating portable apps bar none.

You can set the new option available in Options - General - Check this for issues on HD monitors. I'm not joking... I implemented this option for real and it's there exactly to avoid these kinds of problems.
BTW when the community members write in this forum I really appreciate a more constructive approach.
What does UNUSABLE (in CAPITAL letters) mean? Can't you read the text? Are the labels cut? Are the icons too little? Have you got a bad day?
I know there are still problems with FHD and UHD monitors when you set a custom scaling, I've been working on this for more than one year now, so please be patient.

I looked up "unusable" and yep, it is the correct term. Yes, tiny in some cases but parts of some menus compress together prohibiting access to the options. This is the only screen grab I took before deleting. https://imgur.com/a/I5QXCMQ

Yes, I downloaded v8 again and enabled the "Options - General - Check this for issues on HD monitors". It did the trick. Thanks for the prompt replies.

Hello!
I have the same resolution on my monitor (3840x2160) but am still experiencing problems even though "Check this for issues on HD monitors" is checked. It is the sub-menus to "Tools" that are very difficult to read. I am attaching pictures of what it looks like. (I had to leave out two images to stay under 512 KB.) I have included part of the background so that the difference from normal text is clearly visible. The latest version of SyMenu is installed.
I use SyMenu as a replacement for the Start menu and for that it works well. But this is the only program I've come across that behaves this way. I look forward to a solution coming eventually.

Sorry my bad. I should have been more precise: check the flag and restart SyMenu. Problem solved.
