With the idea of helping Gianluca I tried collecting bug & issues of v.4.14. Be free to add any other (if it's a long subject you can summarize and put the link to the topic):

I just tried the favicons feature for the first time. It seemed to work great for the sites that had one displayed. I copied and pasted these links that you listed here and it doesn't seem like they are using the icons. Maybe its my browser. Do you see the favicons in your webrowser at these sites when you visit them in the browser's address bar?

I just tried internet explorer. It shows them in it. The icon doesn't show up in firefox though.

The favicon problem is easy to explain.
The majority of the web site relies on a convention: the favicon is located on the root of the web site and is called favicon.ico. You can check this fact exploring some web sites (http://www.google.com/favicon.ico http://www.microsoft.com/favicon.ico).
But the modern web is not based on conventions. Every web site page could specify the favicon location and name with a simple tag: link rel="icon" type="image/png" href="/img/websitefavicon.png"
For SyMenu I choose to rely on the first method even if the modern web has a most correct approach. The reason is simple: performance. If I have to download the page, parse it, extract all the favicon links (you can find more than one), choose which one to download, download it.... well you have to wait secs for the complete completion.
IMHO is better to wait one single sec and eventually having no icon than wait secs and surely having an ico.

Thank you very much for your explanation. Fortunately not many pages "non standard".

Has the "Empty Trash" feature disappeared? (see item "SPS folder structure" in SyMenu Manual)

The empty trash button appears only if your trash contains something.

I think it is not working. I installed "FastStone Photo Resizer" then I have uninstalled, I have closed and open SyMenu: There are files in Trash and no button appears (see screenshot).

Sometimes for performance reasons the trash is not updated but if you quit SyMenu (not open and close the SPS manager but completely quit SyMenu) and re-run it, you force the program to phisically check again into the trash and get the real size of the files inside. Also check if you have the last SyMenu version installed (4.14.5796).

I have done two times waiting as you write and the same result: No button. The version is right, 4.14.5796. Perhaps the name of my folder SyMenu: C:\Users\Public\Portables\!SyMenu\ProgramFiles\SPSSuite\SyMenuSuite\_Trash ? edited by VVV_Easy_Symenu on 24/11/2015

I'm not able to reproduce you bug. Send to me your configuration files (SyMenuConfig.zip and SyMenuItem.zip) and I try to get the error.

What configuration language do you use in SyMenu? I have seen the button in English but not in Italian or in Spanish (see the attached sreenshots)

I think you've discovered the problem. I will confirm it whenever I'm able to work on it. Stay tuned.

Dear VVV. I found some minor issues on the trash label but I need a further test from you to be sure that they are all fixed. What happens if you maximize the SPS Manager window with? Is the lost label re-appear?

The "window maximize" button is unavailable in the three languages (you can see in the screenshots above). And if I minimize to the bar (the window disappears) and push back to retrieve, the button still does not appear. I can resize the window but even when it is very large and there is a lot of place, the button does not appear. edited by VVV_Easy_Symenu on 27/11/2015

Yes sorry. It was a typo. The correct question was: What happens if you maximize the SPS Manager window width? The window width is fully resizable.

Ok then since I can't reproduce the bug I ask you to wait for the next version. As I already told you I fix some bugs on the trash label and I hope that these fixes could solve your issue too. In the meanwhile clean up your trash regularly or use the program in English. Whenever I release the next version let me know if the bug is solve or not.
Thanks

The "Empty Trash" feature works in Spanish Traslation of "SyMenu.4.14.5824.beta"
