Very Good Work Thanks a lot for this great tool I just discovered your software today and I am very happy with it
I have some requests (not usefull for everybody I think) Is it possible to have:
- In the SyMenu AvailableDiskSpace/TotalDiskSpace to see how many Ko/Mo/Go left on the USB key (can be configurable via settings) - When the mouse is on the edges of the screen be able to have the SyMenu (can be configurable via settings) - When we add a software be able to add Home Webpage (usefull when we want to access quickly to the download page of the software to check update) - A webpage on your site with your roadmap - A SVN repository If you have planned to open your code
I am translating SyMenu to French, I send you the file when it will be ready (and perhaps a donation of course) <em>edited by pseudoz on 01/12/2009</em>

Hello pseudoz.
I'm very happy when new users test SyMenu and find that it is a great program... maybe it means that I am a great programmer
Ok let's switch in serious mode now.
Your suggestions are interesting and I'll evaluate them for next release. But I need some clarification before.
- What is Ko/Mo/Go????????
- SyMenu can pop up with a click on task icon and with a customizable shortcut keys (ALT+F1 by default). I'll try to implement your suggestion only to test it but I think that it could become too much invasive. I'm already using an application that reacts when you are in proximity of the screen edges and it is very difficult to control it because mouse pointer tends to reach these areas very often (when you use scrollbars and close button in maximized windows, when you hover on Windows date/time or on Start button, when you interact with first tab of tabbed programs and so on).
- I'll surely add programs' home webpage. Great idea.
- SyMenu doesn't have a roadmap because it's a free time project. Having a roadmap means that certain tasks have to be accomplished in certain time. I only have a todo list Anyway I have a very ambitious project related to SyMenu that is a framework that aid programmers to create SyMenu plugin. But it is a very large project and I'm alone. If you or other C# programmers (you are a C# programmer aren't you?) want to help with this side project, you are welcome. Contact me through contact form.
- If someone join SyMenu team as programmer I'll surely open framework source code through SVN.
- Regarding translations please contact me first.

Thanks Gianluca for your quick reply
- Ko/Mo/Go is Kilo/Mega/Giga Octets. It will be usefull to have available space on the usb key.
- Arf of course Windows Seven use edges !!! I used this fonction with a remake of CAFE (an autohotkey script) but your customizable shortcut to reveal SyMenu is enough for me.
- Good !!!! Thanks
- Todo list Webpage is perfect too (We are not in a rush but we would like to know what is planned)
- I find your project very usefull for me (before I used LIBERKEY+CAFE+a homemade autohotkey script to have a good menu like SyMenu). I am a System Administrator and having portable software on USB Key is usefull. SyMenu is PERFECT.
- Open your framework is a good thing!! And I can help you to develop plugins of course.
- Ok I send you a private email for the french translation
Marc

Hi Gianluca!
Concerning Ko/Mo/Go, the o stands for Octets like pseudoz says but let me extend his definition by saying that "Octets" is the French word for "Bytes".
So then Ko/Mo/Go (in French) are actually Kb/Mb/Gb (in English).
And thanks for this wonderful program as it will become handy with my numerous USB sticks and drives ( three drives and 8 sticks )
