I just started using Symenu and I want to express my thanks for this impressive and very useful free program. It has a well thought-out design and obviously a lot of work has been put into it, including the documentation. Thank you. I have over 200, somewhat portable, programs and I run them from a hard drive as well as from USB drives. The small bug I notice is when I am running SyMenu 1.07.3594 on Windows XP SP3 from a fixed hard drive (I don't have SyMenu on USB yet), at the bottom of the configuration form it shows the free space, but it says "Free space on G: (20/50MB)" when it should be "GB." That is all.

Hello Allen.
Since version 1.03 the label has been changed from MB to GB according to the procedure that calculate disk space.
Maybe you have an old language file.
If you are using SyMenu in English your problem is already auto-solved. Every time you run SyMenu, it checks if English lang file is updated otherwise it deletes and recreates the file. But during first execution you can see old lang file. So If you use SyMenu in English, go now on configuration form and check "Free space" label.
Let us know the result.

Yes, I chose the "English" option on the first run of SyMenu. I was testing with version 1.02 which I downloaded last February. I then did a live update to the latest 1.07 version today. But even though I exited and restarted Symenu dozens of times today, the configuration form always showed "MB." It didn't occur to me that this was just a label in the language file.
I also downloaded the SyMenu.zip file today and neither the 1.02 or 1.07 zip file has an "en-US.txt" file in the language folder. Apparently it is created on the first run when English is chosen. I just now did a fresh "install" test with the 1.07 zip file, and the resultant English language file does have "GB." So maybe the problem occurred because I did an update from the 1.02 version and not a new install.
In any case, it is a trivial issue, and I just manually changed "MB" to "GB" in my language file. Thanks for the quick response!
Edit: I found a few other differences between the 1.07 English file and my "updated" 1.02 file, so I replaced the whole file.
