Total commander is not available in the SyMenu suite because it is shareware while Unreal Commander is available because it's freeware. Anyway the synchronization tool is perfectly identical among the two.

Sure there is.
FreeFileSync is advisedly built to avoid its launch from a third party application. This is the reason for which I suggested the workaround.
Read this topic started more than two years ago by John Haller (yes portableapps has the same problem with FFS).

I include in the SyMenu suite only programs that want to spread and not programs that want to be self-referential and FreeFileSync seems to belong to the second family.

And... FFS is not the best synch software. I strongly prefer the more flexible approach of Total Commander or Unreal Commander that is already included in the SyMenu Suite.

Surprised that FreeFileSync is not already included in the list of SyMenu Suite apps. I did read the post on issues running this through SyMenu, but the workaround appears to be simple enough. I've come to rely on this utility as the best sync application out there. I will integrate my portable copy from Portable Apps into my SyMenu, but wanted to see if there was a reason why it isn't included in the list of SyMenu program suite apps.
