You did the right thing. It is clearly a bug and I want to know it and fix it.
SyMenu must become an error free program, with your help too

I also saw the workaround you suggested and yes, that does work. I just figured it was strange so I shipped it your way. Thanks for looking at it anyway.

Weird.
It seems to me that the bug affects only the ipconfig command when you add a switch.
If you try to launch an ipconfig without any switch the command replies regularly.
If you add any switch, not only /flushdns but /all, /release, /renew..., it doesn't work. The only switch that seems to work is /?.

Well I have to study the problem.
In the meanwhile you can easily workaround the problem pressing the button Execute on CMD to repeat the command in the normal command window.

Hello again! I recently noticed something that used to work and now doesn't. I've created a Windows command to run "ipconfig /flushdns". When the command runs, the window shows up and says it's executing it but no text ever shows up. Other commands seem to work, and I've asked someone else to reproduce this and they can as well. Attached is a screenshot of the output.
