The behavior you desire is already, partially, available in SyMenu.

If you are exploring the folder structure from within "My Computer" try to press CTRL key once (don't hold it) and then right or left click the folder entry: the corresponding folder will be opened in explorer or better into your preferred explorer replacement tool if you use SyMenu Open Folder plugin (http://www.ugmfree.it/Forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=85).

The CRTL key activates the Executor modifier that is thought exactly for these cases (http://www.ugmfree.it/SyMenuManual.aspx#Executor_Modifier).

I said "partially available" because the click with the executor modifier doesn't work on the disk unit roots.

One feature that is missing is to open a folder in explorer so when you go to "My Computer" maybe an option if you right click on a drive or folder that folder is opened in a new Explorer Window
