because in an network with more as 100 Computers or on the repairsstation
of it is an bit requires much if every hang in 4-10 different drives if you
can connect over ip's and foldernames directly different things in samba ..
and 2nd the drives.. it is a bad idea from Billy Boy "you mus have an Drive
for using this or an other thing" blablabla ...
take a look on Unix.. or Linux or other Systems who maps they network
file system over exports via nfs or something .. there it is not need
drives or something .. easy.. starting and using.. if it is portable ..
and in WinNT .. hey.. type \\192.168.0.20\Admin or other folder
and you can use it easy ..
so it is more easy as in 100 Computers hang all the network Drives
in who can not use the Other Peoples in Workstation ..
why so hang in the drives and why not directly using ..
who it is more easy as admin ..
Drives be the last crap for Admins.. and on the other
side it is also for an Homeuser who have an Linuxserver
at in the basement also good, because if he have more as only one
computer in the house in diffrent floors it is also good to can start
this appication direcktly without an Drive(out from the network), because need only explore
in the Linuxserver, make an linuxserver.lnk and he have direct
connect to his Server do you see now ..
an direckt conect it is much usefull as an connect over an "networkdrive" from MS ..
it is more ... Unix/Linux samba-like and works mutch easyer..
if you start to use network only network ..
and by the way, this possible it is more cross-border as an "networkdrive"
and the 2nd thing it is, you can every time sincing it with an usb-drive,
because you can have you portable thunderbird on it, and other things also
And can hold it usb/networkfolder every on the latest 
At home and in the Factory with you usb-key/stick or what ever
with thinking in you home-network or in the factory or notebook
or what ever else (also in the network without drives )

why do you not add an own tread for this "beta" and all who want tested,
can posting diffrent things on it .. this spezially tread
this named "open beta testing"  and make possible for all
to testing new betas and gan get you an feedback why you need
On this Tread can you tell direcktly what it is need for testing and how if it is possible..
(need to testing :
- this .......
- and this ....
- and maybe more ...
)
with this do you have an possible for have an more larger Beta testing group..
and this casual, unforced and open (this make more fun like i think)

so it is SyMenu very useful for Wine in Linux as an own "menu" but.. humm.. need Netfm.2 :\
(if it is possible if works the Netframework 2 in wine also ... mono ?

but they psoples who get caught/get stay, like to populate the Forum to the good shot,
and get other peoples more an good feeling, for helping also.
But it's you decision what you do finaly
it was only an suggestion.. well, maybe do you try it out on a time in the forum .

Hi,
at first, congratulation , this lil' Proggy has really developed very pretty well ! 
and thank you for this nice program ! ))
i want gift you an couple ideas/suggestion for it  in this or the other corner ,
like:
- 3D Menu (make a flat Menu / Make a 3D Menu with 0|----||----|10px round edge
- ./ttf For putting in own Truetype Fonts in like : http://www.dos.blackysgate.de/ or others.. (pulldown-ttf-selector for loading at start of the symenu(if possible on the fly))
- Skinning ? Not only Colored, it is possibile to use pictures like jpg or png for pattern/strech horizontal,vertical / the menu as skin like wood, Marmor, Metall and manny other who makes possibile for skinning ?
- Alternative right mouse klick on the systray Icon of SyMenu for a other menu like Configuratione, [X]Autostart (setting up a checkmark) and other therewith have we the ugly non every using "Configuration" and "News Apps" out of the headmenu, on the 2nd right mouse klick
- Left Mouseklick SyMenu (standart)
- ? configuration for the mouseclick's left/right, what makes open (configurtion) ?
- "My Computer" Enable/Disable and or configurable, to hold it out of the pure Program Menu as Portable menu for Administration/Configuration and Tool Programs for the Administration of many computers.. (put the stick in, autostart via inf {a.ex.: technik.inf enable via registry } )
- configuration of "exit/close of the program" button=> [Expert]=>[X]End the Program \n [X]End the Program/end the program and kick out the usb-device \n [X] Close/Shutdown all running Programms from the Usb-Device \n [X] Shutdown the Computer [X] Restart the Computer
- control+win (or configurable) for open an Gui-cmdline where makes able to execute per cmdline programs from the Menu with a pulldown hystory menu

as shortest explain a abandoned project from Li Chao, she's never programming on this Project and Google Code it is only stored,
you can and maybe you be in able to assimilation the whole ideas from hear, because there is no copyleft or something and this traylauncher
works really efficient, if you add the control-win key as executable window where search into the added menu-entrys do we have a Executable window with cmd-line, but all from the added menuentrys and the other things also.. so, what's wrong to overtrage ideas from an abadoned project, should they whole ideas disappear in the sunken?

the next idea, can you maybe add a plugin in you menu who make something like rocketdock
out from the added programs in the menu ?
Also some idea, to have maybe a skin-able menu like mac,
but as plugin who uses the programs from the menu (open an selectorwindow of the whole menu with category's from the "folders" )
And, maybe usable the Skins from Rocketdock https://rocketdock.com/addons/skins/popular and maybe also the addons.. but a own developed Dock, so SyDock as add on to the SyMenu but it exist Skins and addons already
