Thanks for a great free portable program. I am using your latest version on win8.1. I am using the program as a Start Menu for my portable programs ( and others). My task bar/toolbars are on the right side. I have the SyMenu icon in my right side toolbar. I've had to play around with the location of the icon in order for the menu to show up on the desktop. I was thinking that you might could add a right up / down choice on the menu position choices or fixing it so that you could move the menu to any location and have it stay in that location. Just my thoughts, Keep up the good work. Best wishes, undine.

If you click the SyMenu icon located in the taskbar notification area, the contextual menu will appear right here. Anyway you have several other options. You can use a gesture or a shortcut, either customizable, to make it appears in various locations of your screen (change them in Configuration form - menu Advanced - menu Options - tab Hot keys). Otherwise if you prefer mouse clicking you can use the Start Menu replacement button (http://www.ugmfree.it/SyMenuManual.aspx#Advanced_menu_Options) that is freely movable and makes the contextual menu appears next to it.

Thank you Gianluca, I am using the Start Menu replacement button in my right side toolbar as shown in the attached image. When the icon is located on the left side of the toolbar (near the desktop) as shown, the menu shows on the desktop beside the icon, which is good. But if the icon is more toward the right side of the toolbar, the menu does not show up. Thanks again. undine

The right side toolbar represents the same configuration I use in my PCs but I can't reproduce your bug.
Anyway I suggested you to use the "Start Menu button replacer" that is a different thing from the toolbar icon you are showing in your picture.
Read the manual and have a look at my picture. The yellow bordered floating image is the (movable) Start Menu button replacer, the green bordered icon is what you are using.

I think I am using the Start Menu button replacer. I created another one which does the same way. I discovered that if I move the Systray icon over on the right side of the group, that it does the same way (no menu when clicked). WAIT, I turned off the dual display mode, and now it seems to work normal. I still think that adding a "upper right" choice would be helpful. Thanks for your help. undine.

Ok. Again the dual screen bug... I already know that and its resolution is becoming increasingly urgent.
